What to decide in the first 24 hours
- City. Where most guests live — Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Modiin, Ra’anana, Netanya, Tel Aviv — not a pretty hall an hour away.
- Morning vs evening. Morning brit (typically 09:00–13:00, pastry/kiddush spread) is cheaper and more common. Evening is a full dinner.
- Kashrut. Rabbanut vs mehadrin/Badatz. If grandparents or the mohel require mehadrin, the whole venue must match.
- Headcount. Real RSVP, because minimums quietly inflate the bill.
Typical 2026 price bands
- Morning brit: about ₪80–₪150 per guest, or ₪5,000–₪15,000 for a small event.
- Evening brit: about ₪120–₪200 per guest.
- Jerusalem and Tel Aviv sit above the national average.

Cities Anglos ask for first
- Jerusalem — mehadrin demand, parking, stroller access.
- Beit Shemesh — Anglo-religious communities, closer prices than Jerusalem.
- Modiin — mixed dati-leumi / Anglo, book weekday mornings if you can.
- Ra’anana, Kfar Saba, Netanya — Sharon.
